What Happened

Georgia State Patrol officials are investigating a crash that killed a person at I-95 in Camden County, GA on July 17th, 2021. Police say the incident happened around 2 p.m. A semi-truck reportedly lost control and veered across northbound lanes, striking a Volkswagen Tiguan. Both vehicles veered across a median through a guardrail into southbound traffic lanes. The semi-truck struck a Volkswagen Passat and Ford F-150. Police say that a Chevrolet Tahoe and Dodge Dakota were also involved. The Passat driver, 67-year-old Cheryl Enslen, died from her injuries in the crash. 17 others involved were hospitalized with various injuries. Additional information was not immediately available.
