What Happened

Georgia State Patrol officials are investigating a crash that killed a driver at GA 15 near Clayton, GA on July 31st, 2023. Police say the incident happened around 9:40 a.m. Investigators allege a pickup truck headed southbound on GA-15 allegedly crossed a center line into a northbound lane. From there, police say the vehicle collided with a tractor-trailer operated by 46-year-old Brian Doyle. While Doyle sustained minor injuries, according to officials, he was not hospitalized. The operator of the pickup truck, identified as 58-year-0ld Frances Hanrahan, suffered fatal injuries in the crash. Additional information was not available.
