Georgia State Patrol officials are investigating a crash that killed two people at GA-19 in Jeff Davis County, TX on March 5th, 2025. Police say the incident involved a tractor-trailer a dump truck colliding under unclear circumstances. It was alleged the tractor-trailer may have failed to stop at a posted stop sign before colliding with the side of the dump truck. Officials say the 61-year-old dump truck operator, James Griffin, was hospitalized with injuries he later died from. The driver of the tractor-trailer, 52-year-old Chandra Rahming, was also fatally injured. Authorities did not have additional information available.
