Georgia State Patrol officials are investigating a collision that killed a woman at I-75S in Macon, GA in August 28th, 2021. Police say the incident happened around 6 p.m. A Kia Sorento is said to have collided with the rear of a tractor-trailer that was disabled in a travel lane. Police say the truck had emergency cones placed behind it at the time of the collision. Both the driver and passenger of the Kia were hospitalized following the collision. The passenger, 32-year-old Michelle Fletcher, died from her injuries. Additional information was not immediately available.
