Georgia State Police are investigating a collision that killed a driver at Broadway and Raines Ave in Macon, GA on September 3rd, 2021. Police say the incident happened around 9 a.m. A Jeep headed southbound at the intersection  collided with the rear of a logging truck, causing the logs to go through the windshield of the Jeep and cause the driver fatal injuries. The driver was identified as 24-year-old Savannah Steele, who was pronounced dead at the scene. The other driver was not injured. Additional information was not available.
