What Happened

State Police are investigating a crash that killed a teen at I-75 in Cobb County, GA on February 13th, 2022. Police say the incident happened just before 9 p.m. and involved a tractor-trailer colliding with the rear of a stopped Toyota Camry. An 18-year-old in the vehicle died while a second teen was hospitalized with serious injuries. The driver of the truck, 56-year0old Sean Fletcher, was hospitalized with minor injuries. Investigators believe possible mechanical failure played a factor in the crash.
