Georgia State Patrol officials are investigating a crash that injured two people at GA-1 in Chickamauga, GA on July 28th, 2021. Police say the incident happened around 12:45 p.m. A northbound SUV reportedly crossed into southbound lanes under unclear circumstances. A tractor-trailer in the southbound lane behind the SUV lost control and veered into northbound lanes. A second tractor-trailer was not able to avoid a collision and also crashed. The 36-year-old woman in the SUV and a 61-year-old man in the first tractor-trailer were both extricated from the vehicles and hospitalized with serious injuries.
