What Happened

Idaho State Highway Patrol officials are investigating a collision at I-84 in Jerome County, ID on September 23rd, 2023. Police say the incident happened around 7:30 p.m. According to investigators, a semi-truck headed westbound is alleged to have veered from the road through a construction zone before colliding with a 22-year0old pedestrian. Following the collision, the semi-truck stuck a westbound Ford Ranger. Officials say the pedestrian, who was not publicly identified, was fatally injured at the scene. Authorities did not have additional information available.
