Area authorities are confirming information pertaining to a crash that injured a man at US Hwy 20 in Rexburg, ID on September 20th, 2021. Police say a vehicle operated by 26-year-old Patrick Rhodes was struck by a semi-truck while turning left to enter the on-ramp for US 20. The semi-truck had been exiting the highway and did not stop due to, what police later confirmed, brake failure. Rhodes was traveling with his nine-month-old daughter at the time, who was uninjured.
