What Happened

Authorities are investigating a crash that killed six people at US Hwy 20 in Idaho Falls, ID on May 20th, 2024. Police say the incident happened around 5:30 a.m. According to investigators, a pickup truck headed eastbound is alleged to have crossed a center line prior to colliding with a van traveling westbound. Reports indicate five occupants of the van were killed at the scene. Nine additional passengers were hospitalized with injuries one later died from. Additional information was not available.
