Area authorities are investigating a collision that killed a teen at McElroy Rd and Can Ada Rd near Melba, ID on October 8th, 2021. Police say the incident happened around 3:19 p.m. A tractor-trailer operated by an 84-year-old Nampa man is said to have failed to yield at a stop sign while turning north onto Can Ada Rd. It then collided with a Volkswagen Jetta operated by a teen driver. The teen driver died at the scene. The Nampa man was not injured. Additional information was not immediately available.
