What Happened

Area authorities are investigating a crash that killed two men at Route 53 and University Pkwy in Romeoville, IL on June 10th, 2022. Police say the incident involved three vehicles colliding at the intersection under unclear circumstances. The driver of one of the vehicles,  a Hyundai believed to be used as a ride share vehicle, 46-year-old Ali Jabali, suffered fatal injuries in the accident. A backseat passenger, 55-year-old Gustavo Loustaunau Orosa, also suffered fatal injuries. Additional information was not immediately available.
