What Happened

Illinois State Police are investigating a crash that injured three people at I-57 in Doulgas County, IL on July 10th, 2021. Police say the incident happened around 2:30 p.m. A tractor-trailer operated by 45-year-old Daniel Kinch reportedly lost control and veered from the road into a median. It then overturned, causing injuries to Kinch and two passengers, identified as 52-year-old Jeffrey Miracle and 25-year-old Jordan Delucia. Kinch was also cited for Failure to Reduce Speed to Avoid and Accident.
