Area authorities are investigating a crash that killed five people at US Hwy 40 near Teutopolis, IL on September 29th, 2023. Police say the incident happened around 9:25 p.m. According to investigators, a tanker truck carrying ammonia that was involved in a rollover crash. Police say five people involved in the incident, including two children, suffered fatal injuries.
