What Happened

Authorities are investigating a crash that killed five people at US 24 in Rushville, IL on March 11th, 2024. Police say the incident happened around 11:30 a.m. According to investigators, a school bus and semi-truck were involved in a collision that occurred under unconfirmed circumstances. The impact is said to have caused both vehicles to catch fire. Police say the bus carried three children at test time of the incident, all of whom suffered fatal injuries.
