Illinois Police are investigating a crash that killed a driver at Route 53 and Lake Cook Rd in Long Grove, IL on September 19th, 2023. Police say the incident happened around 10 a.m. According to investigators, a box truck headed northbound is alleged to have crossed into a southbound lane before colliding with a semi-truck head-on. The collision left the driver of the box truck, who was not publicly identified, suffered fatal injuries.
