Area authorities are investigating a crash that injured a man at West Russell Rd and Kilbourne Rd in Lake County, IL on September 6th, 2021. Police say the incident happened around 4 p.m. A Yamaha motorcycle operated by a 74=year-old Winthrop Harbor man is said the have collided with a semi-truck performing a wide right turn. The man suffered serious injuries and was hospitalized. The truck reportedly died not remain at the scene. Additional information was not available.
