What Happened

State Police are investigating a crash that injured a driver at I-57 in Kinmundy, IL on October 13th, 2021. Police say the incident happened when a semi-truck operated by 66-year-old Lieonell Stahoski veered into the shoulder and struck a disabled semi-truck operated by 34-year-old Rami Toma. It then veered into a right ditch and caught fire. Police say that one of the drivers was taken to the hospital for treatment. Additional information was not available.
