State Police are investigating a multi-vehicle crash that killed a person at I-57 in Pulaski County, IL on March 24th, 2023 that killed one person. Police say the incident happened around 6:13 a.m. According to investigators, multiple vehicles, including a tractor-trailer were involved in a crash. Police allege the truck was headed northbound before it collided with a second truck, creating a chain reaction crash in the process. The driver of the first truck suffered fatal injuries in the crash. Officers say there were other injuries, however everyone allegedly declined medically attention at the scene.
