State Police are investigating a crash that killed a motorcyclist at Knoxville Ave and Hickory Grove in Peoria, IL on April 24th, 2022. Police say the incident happened before 8:35 p.m. According to initial reports, a motorcycle operated by 38-year-old Richard D. Sally was involved in a collision with a box truck that ejected him from the bike. He was then struck by a second motorcycle and suffered serious injuries he later died from. Police say witnesses allege they saw a group of motorcycles traveling southbound on Knoxville when the box truck reportedly turned left ahead leading to the collision.
