Illinois State Police are investigating a crash that injured a woman at I-90 near Busse Rd in Elk Grove Village, IL on March 25th, 2022. They say it happened around 2:55 p.m. According to initial investigation, a Chicago Classic Coach bus was headed westbound on I-90 when it swerved into a lane occupied by a Nissan for unknown reasons. The two vehicles collided and both vehicle collided with a median wall, the impact causing the Nissan to overturn. The driver of the bus died at the scene while the driver of the car, a 62-year-old woman, was hospitalized with serious injuries. Additional information was not available.
