What Happened

Illinois State Police are investigating a crash that killed a woman and injured two others at Peace Rd in DeKalb County, IL on November 9th, 2021. Police are saying it happened around 10:30 a.m. and involved a semi-truck colliding with an Infiniti passenger sedan. Both vehicles were found in a ditch when authorities responded at the scene. The driver of the Infiniti, an unidentified woman, died at the scene. The driver and passenger of the truck were taken to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
