Madison County Sheriff's Department officials have information on a crash that injured two people at IN 38 and IN 13 in Lapel, IN on July 24th, 2023. Police say the incident occurred between a pair of dump trucks are 9 a.m. Investigators say one truck, operated by 59-year-old David Gardner, was rear-ended by the other driver, operated by 52-year-old Brandon Behr. It was not stated what may have caused the collision. Police say Behr was hospitalized with suspected serious injuries while Gardner was hospitalized with injuries believed to be less serious.
