What Happened

Decatur County Police are investigating a crash that killed a person at N State Rd 3 in Greensburg, IN on July 22nd, 2021. Police say the incident happened when a semi-truck operated by Samuel Wiseman was headed southbound making a right-hand turn. A pickup truck, operated by 29-year-old Devin Jones, reportedly collided with the rear of the semi-truck, ending up underneath the truck. Jones suffered fatal injuries at the scene. Two passengers, 24-year-old Jennifer Sorenson and 27-year-old Kelsey Straughn, were both hospitalized with undisclosed injuries. Police say the incident happened around 10:55 a.m.
