State Police are investigating a crash that killed a woman at Indiana Toll Rd in St Joseph County, IN on April 11th, 2023. Police say the incident happened around 11 a.m. According to investigators, a UPS semi-truck was headed westbound before allegedly suffering brake failure. The truck is said to have come to a stop as a westbound Toyota SUV approached. Police allege the Toyota swerved in an attempt to avoid striking the truck before hitting a back corner. A front seat passenger in the Toyota, identified as 66-year-old Dora Carmen Natella, died at the scene. The drivers were unharmed, according to police. Additional information was not available.
