What Happened

Boone County Sheriff's Office authorities have information on a three-vehicle crash at I-74 in Boone County, IN on March 21st, 2023. Police say there were called to the scene of the crash around 2:19 p.m. According to investigators, a a semi-truck operated by 53-year-old Ardis Tucker suffered a tire blow out. The truck was then involved in a collision with a ProMaster van operated by 49-year-old Jason Marshall. The impact caused the vehicles to travel into westbound lanes, where they struck a second semi-truck operated by 30-year-old Nathaniel Adams. Both Adams and Marshall were hospitalized with minor injuries. A passenger in the van, identified as 39-year-old Geneva Chesnut was also hospitalized with injuries believed to be non-life-threatening. Additional information was not available.
