What Happened

Indiana State Police are investigating a crash that injured a woman at I-70 in Terre Haute, IN on July 21st, 2021. Police say the incident happened around 7 p.m. A tractor-trailer operated by 58-year-old Saad Yasir-Abood Al-Janaby was reportedly suffering from mechanical issues and pulled over to a shoulder. An approaching Toyota passenger car operated by 55-year-old Karen Jarman collided with the truck before losing control and hitting a guard rail before overturning. Jarman was hospitalized with undisclosed injuries. Al-Janaby was not injured.
