What Happened

Indiana State Police are investigating a crash that killed a woman at I-74 in Fountain County, IN on March 24th, 2022. According to investigators, a tractor-trailer operated by 37-year-old Sayidali Sheikhmohamed was headed eastbound when it collided with a Toyota Camry facing south in the eastbound lanes for unknown reasons. The driver of the Camry, 37-year-old Lakeisha Dairo, suffered fatal injuries at the scene. Police say Sheikhmohamed was later arrested on a charge of Driving While Suspended Resulting in Death.
