What Happened

State Police are investigating a crash that killed a man at I-65 near 61st Ave in Lake County, IN on December 6th, 2021. Police say the incident happened around 7 a.m. According to investigators, a large box truck collided with a semi-truck that was disabled and parked in a southbound shoulder of I-65.
