Authorities are investigating a crash that killed one person involved at IN-37 and Spice Valley Rd in Mitchell, IN on February 14th, 2024. Police say the incident happened around 3 p.m. According to investigators, a school bus is alleged to have traveled into the path of a Toyota Highlander before the vehicles collided. A possible cause for the collision was not shared. Officials say the driver of the Toyota, identified as Matt Harakal, was hospitalized with injuries he later died from.
