What Happened

State Police are investigating a crash that killed two people at US 24 near I-469 in New Haven, IN on September 14th, 2023. Police say the incident happened around 1:30 p.m. According to investigators, a semi-truck headed eastbound before allegedly crossing a grass median and striking a westbound pickup truck. Both vehicles caught fire in the collision, leaving the driver and passenger of the pickup truck were pronounced deceased. Police identified the victims as 27-year-old Susannah Cheyenne Truax and 25-year-old Logan Gibson. The driver of the semi-truck was hospitalized with suspected serious injuries.
