Denison Police have information related to a crash that killed a motorcyclist at Hwy 30 in Denison, IA April 29th, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 8:57 a.m. Investigators say a motorcycle operated by 37-year-old Chance Trudell Niles was headed westbound at a speed allegedly above the posted limit when a tractor-trailer ahead made a lane change. The bike reportedly veered across a curb while attempting to avoid a collision with the truck and was partially ejected from the bike. He suffered serious injuries and was taken to an area hospital before later being pronounced deceased. Additional information was not immediately available.
