What Happened

State Police have information on a crash that injured two people at I-80 in Pottawattamie County, IA on October 6th, 2021. Police say the incident happened around 11 a.m. A Freightliner operated by 47-year-old Ramone Worthy is accused of failing to move over for a disabled vehicle stopped in a right lane as well as failing to maintain a proper safe distance. The semi-truck struck a trailer being towed by a pickup truck operated by 18-year-old Keeton Pfaffenberger as well as a man standing near the disabled vehicle. Pfaffenberger and 36-year-old Travis Juno were hospitalized with undisclosed injuries. Additional information was not immediately available.
