Authorities are investigating a crash that killed one person involved at US 36 in Norton County, KS on August 7th, 2024. Authorities say the incident happened around 4:06 p.m. According to investigators, a motorcycle headed eastbound is said to have collided with the side of semi-truck turning left from US 36. The motorcyclist, identified as 80-year-old Alan E. Gantert, was hospitalized with injuries he later died from. Reports say the truck operator was allegedly uninjured and additional information was not available.
