What Happened

Kansas Highway Patrol officials are investigating a collision that injured a person at US 69 in Bourbon County, KS on January 1st, 2021. Police are saying it happened when a tractor-trailer veered from the road through a fence and collided with a parked Chevrolet Silverado. Three people were inside the Silverado, however, police say none were injured. A passenger in the tractor-trailer, 37-year-old Laura Marievel Delatorre, was seriously injured. The driver, 48-year-old Luis Ramon Dominguez Pozo, was not injured.
