What Happened

Kanssas Highway Patrol officials are searching for a driver in connection with a fatal collision at  I-35 in Franklin County, KS on October 29th, 2021. Police say the incident began as a road rage incident between a Jeep and a Dodge Ram. After the vehicles came to a stop, the driver of the Dodge reportedly exited the vehicle to approach the Jeep when a tractor-trailer sideswiped the Jeep and the Dodge driver before continuing on its way. This is said to have occurred around 8:23 p.m. The occupants of the Keep were not injured. The Dodge driver, 54-year-old Lori Anne Maxwell, died a the scene.
