What Happened

Authorities are investigating a crash that injured a woman at 4th St and 200th St in Crawford County, KS on February 22nd, 2024. Police say the incident happened around 3 p.m. Investigators say a semi-truck turning westbound on West 4th St is said to have attempted a u-tun into a nearby parking lot. As it did so, reports say the vehicle was rear-ended by an approaching Mercury Sable. The driver of the Mercury, identified as 40-year-old Megan Cassandra Gepford, was seriously injured, reports say, and hospitalized for treatment. The other driver was allegedly uninjured.
