Area authorities are investigating a crash that killed a persona t US 183 in Rush Center, KS on October 25th, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 7:02 p.m. According to investigators, a Toyota sedan operated by 60-year-old Barbara Western was headed northbound passing a semi-truck in a no pass zone before a southbound vehicle veered into a ditch to avoid colliding with the Toyota. A northbound semi-truck veered into a shoulder and lost control, over correct and veered into a ditch, causing fatal injuries to the driver, 40-year-old Nathaniel Dunlay, died at the scene. Western was not injured. Additional information was not available.
