Kansas Highway Patrol officials are investigating a crash that killed one person at US 71 and Bannister Rd in Kansas City, MO on April 30th, 2023. Police say the incident happened around 7:40 p.m. Officials say the incident involved an ambulance overturned after allegedly losing control. The vehicle veered from her road, overturning twice, and leaving a patient in the vehicle with fatal injuries at the scene. The patient was later identified as 61-year-old Raymond Miller. Two EMT's were hospitalized with undisclosed. Police do not have additional information at this time.
