What Happened

Kansas Highway Patrol officials are investigating a crash that injured two people at K-196 and Parallel St in Butler County, KS on March 31st, 2023. Police say the incident happened around 1:45 p.m. According to investigators, a semi-truck traveling northbound is alleged to have attempted to make a left turn onto Parallel St. Police say as it did so, it collided with a southbound GMC Sierra operated by 61-year-old Steven Wilson. Wilson was hospitalized with serious injuries, following the crash. Walford was also hospitalized with injuries believed to be less serious. Additional information was not been provided.
