Kansas Highway Patrol officials are investigating a crash that injured two people at US 73 near Leavenworth, KS on November 5th, 2021. Police say the incident happened around 7:38 a.m. A tractor-trailer collided with the rear of a Ford Flex. The impact caused the Flex and spin into the side of a tractor-trailer. The driver of the 30-year-old Leavenworth woman and her 9-year-old passenger were both seriously injured and hospitalized. The truck driver was not injured in the crash.
