What Happened

State Police have identified the two people killed in a crash at I-235 in Wichita, KS on February 23rd, 2022. Police say the incident happened just before 6 p.m. According to investigators, a Dodge Ram veered from eastbound traffic lanes and crossed a over a grassy center median for unknown reasons. It then collided with a FedEx box truck in the westbound lanes, operated by 30-year-old Tyler Bauer. Both Bauer and the Dodge driver, identified as 56-year-old Darth Cline, suffered fatal injuries in the crash. Additional information was not immediately available.
