What Happened

Kentucky State Patrol officials are investigating a crash that killed a man at Green River Bridge in Livermore, KY on March 16th, 2023. Police say the incident happened around 2:30 p.m. Police say a truck headed southbound lost two anhydrous tanks that were being towed by the vehicle. As a northbound pickup truck operated by 64-year-old James Hefner approached, the vehicle was struck by one of the tanks. Heifner was taken to an area hospital with injuries he died from.
