What Happened

State Police are investigating a crash involving a school bus that injured people at Route 40 near Magoffin County, KY on November 14th, 2022. Police say the bus veered from the road into an embankment before overturning into a utility pole. The driver was partially ejected from the bus and was one of three people airlifted from the scene for treatment of serious injuries. 18 students were aboard the bus and police say all were taken to an area hospital for evaluation and/or treatment of injuries.
