Kentucky State Police are investing a collision that killed a tow truck operator at I-64 in Bath County, KY on September 25th, 2024. Police say the incident happened sometime just before 5:17 p.m. According to investigators, as 54-year-old Troy Caldwell was working to load his tow truck, he was struck by a semi-truck operated by 29-year-old Shodmon Yuldashev. The collision left Caldwell fatally injured, police say. Authorities allege Yuldashev may have been distracted while driving prior to the collision. Additional information was not available.
