What Happened

Louisiana State Police are investigating a crash that killed a child at I-12 in Holden, LA on April 7th, 2022. Police say the incident happened when a tractor-trailer failed to stop and collided with the rear of a Ford F-150. The driver and passengers of the Ford were hospitalized with injuries that the child, 18-month-old Gael Pacheco, later died from. The truck driver, 60-year-old Predrag Bisevac, was seriously injured and charged with negligent homicide and reckless operation.
