What Happened

Authorities have information on a crash that killed one person at I-10 in Prairieville, LA on March 13th, 2025.  Officials say the incident happened around 1:30 a.m. According to investigators, a Nissan Titan is said to have collided with the rear of a tractor-trailer while attempting to return to the roadway from a shoulder. Officials say the driver of the Nissan, identified as 41-year-old Dwayne Jackson, was hospitalized with injuries he later died from. Additional information was not available.
