What Happened

State Police are investigating a crash that killed two people at I-10 in Acadia Parish, LA on July 6th, 2021. Police say the incident happened around 8 a.m. A tractor-trailer reportedly suffered tire failure which then lost control and struck a Ford F-250. The tractor-trailer then crossed into westbound lanes and struck a Toyota Rav4 operated by 34-year-old Joshua Lee Babineaux and  Dodge Ram pickup truck, occupied by 30-year-old John Cooper Guidry. Both men suffered fatal injuries in the crash. Additional information was not immediately available.
