Kymber Nezat, Albert Bordelon Killed in Coca-Cola Truck Accident at Morganza Hwy near Labarre, LA

State Police are investigating a major crash that left two people with fatal injuries at Morganza Hwy near Labarre, LA on June 27th, 2023. Official say the crash involved an ambulance and a Coca-Cola truck. Investigators believe the ambulance was headed northbound before colliding with the rear of a Nissan Altima under unclear circumstances. Following the collision, the ambulance is believed to have traveled across a center line into a southbound lane before colliding head-on with an approaching tractor-trailer. The driver of the ambulance was identified as 28-year-old Kymber Nezat, who suffered fatal injuries in the crash. Also killed was a patient in the vehicle, identified as 82-year0old Albert Bordelon. Police say an additional occupant of the ambulance, who was not publicly identified, was hospitalized with suspected serious injuries. Additionally, they say the drivers of the tractor-trailer and Nissan, who also were not identified, were hospitalized with moderate injuries. Additional details are not available at this time.
