What Happened

State Police are investigating a crash that killed two people at US Hwy 84 in Mansfield, LA on February 28th, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 4 p.m. According to police, a vehicle attempting to make a turned into a private driveway and believed it failed to yield while doing so. It was then struck by an oncoming semi-truck, pushing the car into an adjacent lane where it was struck by a second semi-truck. The occupants of the car, 81-year-old Louis Flanigan and 80-year-old Inell Flanigan, suffered fatal injuries. The other two drivers suffered minor injuries. Additional information was not available.
